The specialist unit AC&E PI & Liability was established in 2014 and provides cover for legal liability by underwriting professional indemnity (both on an annual basis, on a project specific basis or for specialist contractors or consultants), as well as for Broadform Liability classes. The Broadform Liability cover provides cover for the legal liability incurred by engineering professionals for injury, death or damage to third-party property arising in the course of their business.

AC&E PI & Liability utilises its independent pricing and quotation models, and can provide cover of up to R100m.
